Mike's Minute: January 2016

Mike Bow-Wow-Ski Here: Lately I have seen a lot of TV articles on the "10 Most This or That" or "7 Biggest This or That," whatever it may be — and since we are starting another new year, it got me thinking about my life this past year.

Some of the highlights for me personally were — I discovered that if I tipped the kitchen trash can, there might be treasures inside. Once on the floor I can pick through all the options before me. Some of these were really good, and I could take them outside and work them over in the back yard. I am not sure why Craig threw some of these delicacies out.

My duty, as a citizen of the globe, is to reduce the amount of material going into the landfill. I just have to do this when Craig is out of the house. He must like what I am doing — as when ever he comes home and finds the contents spread on the kitchen floor, he seems to me to get very excited.

I finally caught a cat! Yes I did, and it was magical. Once caught, I was not sure what to do next — as no one ever told what to do at that point — so I let it go. So I just crossed this off my bucket list and was thankful for the opportunity.

Craig took me in the dog spa with him the other day. At my age, the warm water really felt great on my bones. After being with Craig for 13 years, I am moving slower now. The mind is still there but the body definitely can not keep up with the mind.

2015 was a good year. I am looking forward to seeing what is going to happen in 2016. What were some of your highlights in 2015?
